Julia Cannon is a writer and educator from Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her MFA in fiction writing from Columbia University, where she also served as a Teaching Fellow. Her work has been supported by Vermont Studio Center, Interlochen Center for the Arts, The Quogue Writers Series, and elsewhere. She was the Writer in Residence at Interlochen Center for the Arts in 2025, and is at work on her first novel.  You can read her latest work here.
